Create your first activity
From Schedule, drag an activity template onto the calendar or use « + New Activity », then set title, dates, capacity, and booking options.
Create your activities, organize the calendar, assign guides and resources, and manage availability.
Activities are the foundation of Activiteez: everything else in the product — bookings, customers, point of sale, invoicing — builds on what you have defined and scheduled. Once your offerings are modeled, the calendar becomes the center of your day: you see what is happening, when, and with whom, and you organize the team and resources there.
An activity is a concrete offering in your calendar: a class, a guided outing, a rental, a course… with its times, prices, booking rules, assigned instructors or guides, etc. It is the unit around which registrations and operations revolve.
An activity template is a reusable model: you save a recurring offering’s settings once (duration, price, options, default resources), then place it on the calendar as often as needed — by drag-and-drop — without re-entering everything. Ideal for slots that come back every week or every season.
Beyond simple activities, you can build packages, schedule recurring activities, and handle advanced cases (variable duration, creation at booking time…): it all starts from this activity → calendar base.
Activities are not limited to dated slots on the calendar. They also let you offer and manage other commercial products tied to your catalog:
These products share the same logic as your scheduled offerings: they rely on activities configured in Activiteez and meet the calendar or booking flow when the customer uses their entitlement.
The Schedule menu groups every way to read and organize your calendar. The calendar offers several time views — day, week, or month (plus a list view when needed) — to move from one day’s detail to a period overview.
You can also change the display angle:
Filters, drag-and-drop, rotations, and availability management complete these views so you can adjust slots, assignments, and load without leaving the calendar.
The guides and FAQs here detail all calendar display modes and everything related to activities: creation and editing, templates and packages, recurrence, gift vouchers, membership cards, and top-up cards, assigning instructors and resources, drag-and-drop, advanced settings, payouts, equipment rentals, and more. Each article covers one procedure so you can use the calendar as your central operations tool.
From Schedule, drag an activity template onto the calendar or use « + New Activity », then set title, dates, capacity, and booking options.
Duplicate an existing activity as a reusable template from Schedule, or create one via Activity templates and the calendar toolbar.
From Schedule, drag an activity template from the toolbar onto the calendar, position the slot, and save after completing the details.
From activity editing, Pricing, Capacity, Bookings tab, open Options… to add pricing lines (categories, packs, options, discounts) alongside the base price.
Two areas to translate:
Activities — edit from Schedule, switch language via the selector at the top right: title, description, location, messages and booking labels. Save the activity.
Account (mini-site / widget) — Settings → General tab, same language selector: Description (business), Website and Terms & conditions (company info). Save settings.
Visitors see the translated version if the URL includes the matching lang parameter, if the mini-site language menu is set to that language, or if the browser is configured accordingly. Otherwise the account default language is shown; untranslated fields also fall back to that language.
Guides: Translate activities and account content and Embed Activiteez on your website.
Customer email language: How do I manage communication language for a customer?.
Pricing options are configured in activity editing, Capacity, Pricing, Booking tab, Options… button. The base price remains the main rate; each option line complements or replaces it depending on its type.
| Type | Role |
|---|---|
| Category | Rates by category and quantity (children / adults…) |
| Group pack | Fixed-quantity group rate replacing unit price |
| Private booking | Privatization: full activity without quantity |
| Duration | Rate by slot or duration + quantity |
| Equipment / Equipment x duration | Equipment rental (with or without duration) |
| Group option / Participant option / Duration x participant option | Checkbox options (group, per person, per slot) |
| Volume discount / Cart volume discount | Discount from a quantity threshold |
| Discount coupon | Promo code checked at booking |
| Price list | Point-of-sale item chosen by the customer |
Step-by-step setup: Configure activity pricing options. For promo codes: How do coupons work?.
Coupons are a Discount coupon pricing option, added like other types in the activity Options… editor.
Each coupon line has its own code list and amounts. You can have multiple lines on one activity.
At booking, the customer enters the code. The system checks it is in the valid list for that option:
Detailed option setup: Configure activity pricing options.
To see your instructors’ availability in Schedule, check the following in order.
The instructor must enter slots from their own account; without availability recorded, nothing appears on your calendar.
In Schedule, on the horizontal Instructors toolbar: check Availability to display open slots.
On the same toolbar: uncheck Filter, or explicitly select the instructor concerned.
An activity template is a reusable activity model in your calendar. It suits offerings that come back often (weekly classes, standard outings, recurring rentals…): you define duration, price, options, and default resources once, then place it on the schedule as often as needed without re-entering everything.
The activity is duplicated and appears in the activity templates toolbar. You can then drag and drop it to different places on your calendar.
For other creation methods (Activity templates menu, Manage on the toolbar), see the guide Create an activity template.
