Designate a partner or booking agent

This guide is for the professional (organizer) who wants another person or organization to place bookings on their activities: reseller, tourist office, host, commercial partner… The agent does not run your account; they book from their Activiteez space on the offerings you open to them.

Prerequisites

• Your partner has a valid email address (existing Activiteez account or to be created).
• You know which activities the agent will book ( Partners mode — see Choose a booking mode).

Procedure — add the agent

1. Open Settings → Partners tab, or Book → My partners.
2. In the list They can book for me…, enter the partner’s name and email, click the green + button, then save your settings.
3. If the person does not yet have an Activiteez account, you can create one for them (button on the right of their row): they receive credentials by email. If the email is already linked to Google or Facebook, sign-in may use that account.
4. Tell your partner: they must accept the link by checking Active in the agent/partner list on their account. Without that, collaboration does not start — see Book as a partner.

Note — incoming request
A partner can also ask to be added via I want to book for…. You then see the request in Settings → Partners and can accept or decline it.

Procedure — open activities to partner mode

Designating an agent is not enough: each activity must allow partner registration.

1. Edit the relevant activity.
2. « Pricing, Bookings » tab: check Partners, then save.
3. Confirm the agent is in your partner list and has a valid account and password.
4. If you limit scope, check the activity category is allowed for that partner.

Procedure — commissions and tracking

For each partner, you can optionally set:

• a fixed amount per booking;
• a percentage of the booking amount;
• both combined, per your commercial agreement.

Activiteez calculates commissions automatically on bookings placed by the agent.

1. Book → My partner commissions.
2. Review amounts owed per partner and period.
3. Use Pay to record the amount in your Activiteez entries and mark the commission as settled.

Note — no transfer in the app
Activiteez does not perform bank transfers: actual settlement stays between you and your partner (wire, check, etc.).

Common issues

• Agent does not see activities: Active link on both sides, Partners mode on the activity, allowed category — see the agent/partner verification FAQ.
• Booking refused: invalid agent account or activity without partner mode.
• Missing commission: check fixed / percentage setup on the partner record.
