Enable online payment
Online payment lets your customers pay a deposit or the full amount of a booking by card (and, depending on your Stripe setup, other methods Stripe offers). Funds are collected on your Stripe account, after Stripe fees and the Activiteez commission are deducted.
Create and verify a Stripe account
- Create an account on stripe.com and follow Stripe’s setup steps.
- Complete account creation and verification (identity, bank details, etc.). Without a verified account, payouts for online payments cannot be sent.
Connect Stripe to Activiteez
- In Activiteez, open Settings → Preferences.
- Go to Payments, Bookings, Notifications (the label may vary slightly).
- Connect your Stripe account using the flow provided in the interface.
Enable payment on an activity
For each activity concerned:
- Edit the activity.
- Open the Pricing, Bookings tab.
- Check Online payment.
- Set a price and the amount to pay online (deposit or full amount).
Registration may still be possible without immediate payment depending on your settings; with online payment, the booking is usually confirmed only after the customer pays.
SEPA direct debit (optional)
If you offer automatic debits (recurring bookings, memberships, mandates):
- Check SEPA direct debit in account preferences (Payments, Bookings, Notifications section).
- Enable SEPA Direct Debit in the connected account’s Stripe Dashboard.
The customer chooses SEPA, enters their IBAN, and accepts the Stripe mandate. Pending and confirmed statuses in Activiteez are detailed in the FAQ How do I know if my customer was debited via Stripe SEPA?.
Fees and payouts
- Payment is processed on your Stripe account, minus Stripe fees and the Activiteez commission.
