Run a cash register inventory

Inventory lets you record quantities found for cash register items eligible for inventory.

  • Only lines where you enter a quantity are saved; an empty line is ignored.
  • To force zero quantity, enter 0 explicitly.
  • The default date is today (change it if your procedure requires).

Only items with Inventory set to Active appear β€” see Configure cash register items.

Procedure

  1. At the top right of the Cash register screen, open the Cash register menu, then Inventory.
  2. Check the displayed date and adjust if needed.
  3. For each item in the list, enter the counted quantity. Leave blank any line you do not want to include.
  4. For zero stock, enter 0.
  5. Confirm (OK, Save, etc.).

Common issues

  • Item missing: enable Inventory / Active on the item in settings.
  • Quantity not saved: a blank field is not recorded; enter the value, including 0.
