The Accounting & exports section rests on a central Activiteez principle: everything is built on an entry system. Sales, payments, and movements recorded in the app feed sales entries; you can also record expense entries for your costs. Together, these entries form pre-accounting inside the software β without replacing your official accounting software or your accountant, but structuring data from day-to-day operations.
It complements Payments & invoicing (quotes, invoices, online payment) and Point of sale (on-site payments, NF525 receipt): once money is collected or invoiced, this section helps you consolidate, analyze, and hand off accounting data.
Sales entries come from your activity in Activiteez: bookings, point of sale, invoicing, Stripe payouts, etc. They turn your revenue and collections into usable accounting lines.
Expense entries let you record costs (purchases, fees, external chargesβ¦) to complete the picture. Cross-referencing sales and expenses gives a fuller view of the business before export to your firm.
Each entry uses debit / credit according to your chart of accounts. From these movements, Activiteez lets you in particular:
